On September 18, the largest international renewable energy professional exhibition in Asia, REI 2018, opened as scheduled in New Delhi, India. As the world's leading manufacturer of photovoltaic components, Zhejiang Chuang Sheng Guang Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Chuang Sheng) brought its polycrystalline 72 high-efficiency components to the exhibition.
As one of the global TOP 3 photovoltaic market, India is the largest export market of photovoltaic modules in China. China's total exports in 2017 reached 9.46 GW. In the first half of this year, India's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) announced that it would increase its renewable energy capacity target to 225GW by 2022 and 500 GW by 2030, of which photovoltaics accounted for 350 GW.
During the exhibition, Chuangsheng announced its previous 60MW component procurement agreement with Vikram Solar Limited, India's largest component manufacturer. "This year will be a crucial year for Chuang Sheng to explore the Indian market," said Katherine Gao, president of marketing at Chuang Sheng. "We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with Vikram Solar in a short time. Even as India faces the pressures of safeguard taxes, we remain convinced that this will be one of the hottest photovoltaic markets for investment right now. We are confident that we can provide more efficient products for the India market, as well as locally customized services. "
